Description

"I just had to email you to let you know that one of our delegates has already used the skills she learnt in your workshop. She arrived just TWO MINUTES late to check in for her flight. She was told she’d have to wait for the next flight, which left five hours later. The negotiating skills you taught worked and she was able to fly home as planned. She's so proud, and so grateful to you!"
Anna Salamonowicz, Director RSAUK

We run in house workshops for any organisation or company wanting to improve its management skills.
We have run programmes ranging from one workshop on bullying for a local council department to a series of six workshops each run over 20 times with its own branded materials and including back up coaching.
Your workshops will be tailored to suit your needs and fit in with the issues you are facing and what you need to achieve.

The Contents of Your Workshop

You tell us what kinds of problems you are facing and we will design the workshop around your requirements and the skill levels of your people.
Examples of the kinds of topics we often include in these workshops:

  • How to stop bullies bullying.
  • Why people bully others and what encourages bullying behaviour.
  • How to recognise a number of difficult behaviours including, the bully, the ditherer (can't make a decision), cry-babies, 'rhinos', pessimists (negative people), fuss-pots, and emotional blackmailers.
  • Once you have learned to recognise the give-away signals you will then discover the secrets in dealing with these characters.
  • Techniques to help you if you are being bullied and also what to do if you are managing someone who is bullying others.
  • How to deal with people who have trouble making decisions and then, when they do, change their minds.
  • How to deal with people who get very emotional and even burst into tears.
  • What behaviours to look out for.
  • How to recognise how your own behaviour can improve or make the situation worse.
  • How to make people aware of their own behaviour and of its effects.

"We had a difficult situation. Nancy provided a creative approach to the problem and, in a very short space of time, has managed to sort it out to the satisfaction of everyone involved. We have seen fantastic improvements in behaviour and relationships, and a financial saving too"
Martin Blomley, VEGA
