Here are just a few examples of the badly written objectives:

  • Meet & greet external visitors and escort them to the meeting room
  • To provide good quality administrative support to Marketing Team.
  • Accurately perform administrative duties for 6 Directors/Managers in a timely manner.
  • Manage Diaries.
  • Maintain calendars for Directors/Managers as requested utilising Outlook Schedule.
  • Ensure adequate cover is available and that no more than two administrators are on leave at the same time.
  • Assist Managers with recruitment and selection of Administrators.
  • Arrange travel, ensuring the database is populated with full details so that in the event of an emergency, the traveller and their next of kin can be contacted.

  • To provide full administrative support to XXX with slides presentations/meetings/travel.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to assist in the preparation of documents, presentations and spreadsheets as requested.
  • Accurately support the management of the AZ12345 budget.
  • Attend regular meetings with GPM to discuss product budget.
  • Ensure paperwork is processed accurately and on time. Develop and maintain a spreadsheet for all commercial PO’s and invoices.
  • XPEN Software support – utilise XPEN to complete and process expenses for Directors/Managers. Ensure expenses are entered accurately and within two weeks of travel completion.
  • Maintain shared paper and electronic filing system for the XXXX team as requested.
  • Read through intranet sites.
  • Arrange meetings as a forum to encourage airing and sharing of best practice in order to develop high technical standards within the team.
